Where is it? Oh, where can it be?
Why does the very thing I’m looking for seem to escape me?
What about you, have you seen it? Is it over there?
It seems no one else can find it either, they’ve looked everywhere.
I left it right here, I know I did
So why can I not find it, it’s not something I hid.
Did someone take it, jealous of me?
Look! Right there! Oh, could it be?
I’ve searched high and low on a mission to find
The very thing that has always been right here all this time.
They say that everything you’ve ever wanted is already here
But to recognize it both your mind and your heart have got to be clear.
Clear of the temptations and distractions this world manifests
Is the only way you’ll ever recognize what God has declared to be His best.
Though situations and circumstances appear to be unbearable and unforgivable
I believe the Lord has begun work on one of His greatest miracles.
Your love is what I am talking about I hope you can plainly see
Your love is what I lost and hope to find one day, when God Almighty is finished with you and me.
