Dear Althea DeBrule,

I just wanted to say thank you for this tool you have made available for the advancement of Gods kingdom.

I'm the counseling coordinator of a faith based drug rehabilitation centre in Lagos Nigeria called Wellspring Rehabilitation Centre managed and funded by the Redeemed Christian Church of God Apapa Family, where Jesus uses us to rehabilitate drug addicts, miscreants and prostitutes, oh what power and glory and wonders we have seen!

I'm a businessman and I've always been guided by God and His word, even through many mistakes, He has helped me with my own career and businesses.

I needed something like this to teach our residents and beneficiaries on how to hear God and be guided by His Holy Spirit concerning their careers.

We run a two stage training program, the first is discipleship which is the process that gets them off drugs and prostitution, and the second is the vocational which sets them up in a job and helps them build their lives once again, for social reintegration.

The second part had always been difficult because many of our guys are confused as to which way to go, which career to follow, I have no doubt that with the tools you have made available, this confusion has come to an end in the name of Jesus.

May the Lord reward your labor of love, may you continue to be a blessing and a useful laborer in His vineyard,

God bless you real good!!

Wow. I read the three parts of the Career Failure Game...I couldn't have summed up my own feelings any better than what was written here. I feel like I'm not alone in my career debaucle. I don't know what my next step is, but I like the ARC strategy. I will pray that God will guide me and help me to use that strategy-and hopefully not make the same mistakes. Thank you for this website, I look forward to reading it each day.

Unhappy more like integrity what to do when your supervisor almost ruins a $350.00 grocery sale by interupting me as my customer leaves the checkstand answering her cell phone as my boss pages supervisor then walks away I run to get customer to sign credit card
and finish the sale then get pulled into the back room by higher up supervisor about customer complaints which turns out to be broken eggs story mix-up.
Next day I get pulled into the back room again for something else.
I know I'm a good cashier and now wondering if they want to fire me for no good reason. Trying to keep my job with a hopeless feeling I know I am good employee that makes $ for Walmart
wheres Good Old Common Sense in this world and why hasn't security cought this in their computers Sleepless in Durango!

Hi! I'm an artist I paint paintings, love to sing love music my career should be in the "arts and entertainment field".
The job I am blessed with "a Cashier at Walmart" is physically wearing me out from 56 years of age and low blood sugar lack of sleep between work hours. What to do after 13 years of cashiering

Hello,

My name is Nicholas Rubright (I go by Nick), and I'm 18 years old and in college. I want to be an entrepreneur, and have wanted to as long as I can remember. I wanted this since about 4 years old when I wanted to own my own railroad system, and everything I've ever wanted to do, I've always wanted to be the biggest and best in the business. I'm extremely competitive. When I was younger, I didn't think too much of it, I just wanted it, but now that I'm older, I'm starting to work towards my lifelong dreams more and more, and it doesn't seem impossible, but I'm never sure if God wants it. All my life I've wanted to be the next Microsoft, or Google, or Apple, but sometimes I think to myself "Why would God want this for me? How would my goals help him in any way at all?" This desire I have is all I think about morning, day, and night. I'm constantly looking for reasons that God would want me to pursue it because I don't see how it'd help him. I've had a desire to be the big businessman all my life, I fantasize about being on the cover of Time magazine or Fortune all the time. I assure you, I'm not in it for the money, but I've always wanted to be the best at whatever business I intended to start, and my goals, visions, and desires for this keep growing. I don't know if its God giving me my ideas and the desire to run a billion dollar corporation, or if its just what I've always wanted for selfish reasons. I've also been praying about my business goals all my life, and have always been scared that God would want me to do something else. I've sometimes even prayed things like "God, if you don't want this for me, change my desires before it'll hurt me too much" because I'm afraid I'll get so close and the door will close or something. My desires haven't gone away, and I'm still getting new ideas almost daily. What does the Bible and/or God say about situations like this?

Thanks!
