Everywhere you look today, people are searching for a bargain. Newspapers and advertisements continually list items for sale as “buy one, get one free”.
A prudent money manager, you hurry to the mall, department store or supermarket to be the first in line to take advantage of any savings. Once your purchases have been made, you bask in feelings of contentment and assurance, knowing that even though you had to purchase one item, you received two for the price of it.
Yet, you would feel even more contentment if you were able to get it all free and not buy a thing! Now, that would be the greatest bargain of all.
GOD is The Supreme Bargain-Maker. He desires to have a personal and permanent relationship with you. But, there is a problem. God is “Holy” and cannot be in the presence of sin. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and have fallen short of God’s holy and righteous standard.
As a result, we are separated from Him (Romans 3:23). Even so, God has solved our problem and provided the Greatest Bargain of all! He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who never sinned, to die for all of our sins, thus allowing us to enter into that wonderful and glorious relationship with Him. GOD the Supreme Bargain-Maker has provided the Greatest Bargain of all!
GOD’s advertisement reads, “Buy None, Get It Free”! By accepting the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, Who bought our salvation through His death on a cross, we can have eternal life and establish a love relationship with Him.
God promises us a place with Him in heaven for all eternity if we accept His Gift. If you have not received this gift yet, and would like to get it FREE, pray this simple prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I know and accept that I am a sinner, but I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. I now accept Your Gift of eternal life. Thank You for forgiving my sins. Thank You for my new life. From this day, I choose to enter into a personal and permanent relationship with You.
If you prayed this prayer or one like it, and have accepted God’s Free Gift, you have been sealed with His Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead has raised you from the death of your sins and given you new life (Romans 8:11).
God has created and designed you with a purpose in mind. You have been equipped by The Holy Spirit to carry out this purpose. Open your heart, mind, and soul to the possibilities!
